These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the iloc platform. By creating an account or using the service you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by them.
iloc is strictly for users aged eighteen (18) years or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or over. Accounts belonging to persons under 18 will be closed and their data deleted.
1. AI persona disclosure
The interactions provided on the iloc platform are generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents. While these agents are programmed using evidence-based Cognitive Hypnotherapy principles, they are not human therapists, psychologists, or medical professionals. They cannot provide clinical diagnoses or emergency support.
Agents such as Jill, Marcus and Shelly are conversational AI systems. Their voice, tone and scripts are synthesised. Any impression of empathy, insight or personal recognition is a product of language modelling, not a therapeutic relationship.
2. Non-clinical disclaimer
iloc provides self-help tools based on Cognitive Hypnotherapy principles. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as a clinical recommendation. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical or psychological condition.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a local crisis helpline immediately. This platform is not monitored for crisis support.

Safety & Usage Restrictions
Change Waves induce a state of deep relaxation that significantly reduces your awareness of your environment. Do not listen while driving, operating machinery, or performing any task that requires your full attention.
- Listen only in a stationary, safe location where you can close your eyes.
- Do not use Change Waves with headphones while walking or cycling in public.
- If you have any medical condition affected by relaxation or trance states, consult a qualified clinician before use.
A safety confirmation is required before every Change Wave session. By using the service you accept sole responsibility for the environment in which you listen.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer AI outputs, upload content that infringes another party’s rights, or use the platform to impersonate or harass any person. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid tiers are billed through Stripe. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Founding Tester access is provided free of charge, at our discretion, in exchange for feedback and does not create any employment or contractor relationship.
5. Intellectual property
The iloc platform, including Change Wave scripts, agent designs and methodology layers, is the intellectual property of iloc and its licensors. Your reflections and recordings remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to deliver the service to you.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, iloc is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
